I’m not going to show the steps involved in converting a Subversion project into a Git repository, I followed the instructions detailed here missing out step 3.
USING RAPIDSVN CODE
Ideally the tagged versions should be a snapshot of the code, however, in Subversion they are code branches and there is nothing to stop revisions being applied to them. dev-vcs/rapidsvn-0.12.The structure of TitanQt is common to many Subversion projects, there’s the main development trunk, two version branches and three tagged releases. * Reason: Filesize does not match recorded size * /var/db/repos/localrepo/dev-vcs/rapidsvn/rapidsvn-0.12.1.ebuild
USING RAPIDSVN VERIFICATION

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:Įmerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "dev-vcs/rapidsvn".Įmerge: Maybe you meant any of these: dev-vcs/kdesvn, dev-libs/rapidjson, dev-vcs/rsvndump? Gentoo ~ # emerge -ask -verbose dev-vcs/rapidsvn I'm trying to emerge rapidsvn like shown in the howto you posted me but the emerge doesn't find the pakage.what I'm missing? Posted: Sun 6:54 am Post subject: Re: rapidsvn You can eliminate the notice by removing rapidsvn from the system: emerge -ask -verbose -depclean dev-vcs/rapidsvn. Removing rapidsvn from will not eliminate the notice. Posted: Fri 12:46 am Post subject: Re: rapidsvn
USING RAPIDSVN UPDATE
You could raise an issue on RapidSVN about fixing the python2 dependency - if you get a reasonable response, then you could update the gentoo bug 735340 to say upstream is on the case. I had a quick look - there's only a little python code and its smallish scripts for supporting the build. Rapidsvn's last release was in 2012, however the home site references a github repo which does seem to be alive. I didn't think of overlay, I think I'll do that. Questions are guaranteed in life Answers aren't. You can create your own local overlay and add ebuild on it. I see only dev-vcs/kdesvn but depend on kde-frameworks. Rapidsvn will be deleted from portage, I don't find another gui svn client.is strange.
